Pneumatic-hydraulic booster pumps utilize compressed air as power, based on the principle of area difference (Boyle's Law), to continuously output hydraulic oil or other liquids at a fixed pressure ratio, serving as a high-pressure power source. They are variable plunger pumps that integrate the power source. Double-acting pumps exhibit less pulsation than single-acting pumps, resulting in higher output flow, a 50% increase compared to single-acting pumps in the same series.
Applications Typical applications: Providing static and burst testing for pipe fittings, hoses, valves, pressure vessels, and cylinders; powering automotive braking systems and injector testing; providing power for hydraulic equipment such as clamping, forming, drilling, shearing, and stamping; water jetting for high-pressure cleaning and water cutting equipment; overpressure protection for large presses; and providing cushioning and lifting power for molds.
